- I graduated in May 2008 from the University of Vermont with a degree in Environmental Studies and a concentration in International Community Development. I am off to the Peace Corps for 27 months beginning September 1, 2008 to do environmental education in Nicaragua! If sending a package, don't send anything too valuable and put it in a padded envelope instead of a box. population of matiguas is 14k not 25k acording to not so reliable sources?
I've heard different figures as well, but I think the 25K includes surrounding communities within the municipality.
